When Miss America is broadcast across the nation on Sept. 11, many watching in their living room will be looking at the evening gowns chosen by the 51 contestants.

But what would the next generation of Miss Americas choose to wear if they had a chance to stand on a national stage.

At last month’s Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant in Orlando, a glimpse of the future was offered on one of the nights.

Representatives of the Teens in Training Camp walked across the stage wearing their evening gown and party dress finery.

The camp, according to press materials provided by the Miss America Organization, is for “women, ages 12-17, (and provides) the ability to improve on skills that translate from the stage to the real world. With panels led by some of the industry’s top professionals, these young women are provided with the opportunity to network with like-minded young women and improve upon their Personal Brand. Our workshops include lectures on Interview, Platform Development, On-stage Introduction, Modeling & Styling, and Insider Secrets.”

This  is what the attendees wore when they had a chance to step out in front of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen judges and the public at large.
