Decompression time before Redemption

Before the runway could be Redeemed at the first ever Salvation Army Redemption Fashion Show in Hartford, models had to be prepped with hair and makeup and received final touch ups from the designers. And when there was a moment to breathe, they picked up their cellphones to take selfies and to ensure friends and family were in the audience for the runway event. They also took time to decompress before it was go time.

Designers for the evening were Stacey Lawes, La’ Moo (Bertha Angelo), Faschinn (Chinnyere La’Rose), Ooak Eccentrix (Marion Imbruglio), Couture France, Catherine Henry, and Vilinda McGregor.

Plus, organizers of Connecticut Fashion Week pulled together outfits straight off the rack of the stores of the Salvation Army for models and clients of the SA’s Redemption Center in Hartford to wear.

The evening was a fund raiser for the Salvation Army.

This is what it looked like backstage.
