Parties call for the ‘LBD’

The hemlines may have changed over the years.

But the “little black dress,” made famous by the inimitable Coco Chanel, continues to be a staple in every woman’s closet.

Karl Lagerfeld, the renowned creative director of Chanel, once said, ““One is never over-dressed or under-dressed with a Little Black Dress.”

With the holiday season upon us—with Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve parties on the agenda—a woman can do no wrong by pulling out her “LBD” and some pumps (adding some pearls for emphasis).

And if you don’t have one, do some shopping. The “Little Black Dress” is the icon of fashion that keeps giving.
