As 2016 is coming to an end, you can only hope to see what the future holds for yourself. The end of the year is the time to celebrate all that has happened and to set new resolutions. Let’s start that resolution together. The only exception is that this resolution must last you through the entire year. Make it a goal to stick with your new year’s resolution for as long as possible. Set your goals now and make sure they are realistic and something you really want. But remember, the most important part is that you must work for it. Nothing comes easy, so you must not give up on yourself.

Make your training goals for the New Year and truly believe in them. Ever hear your abs are made in the kitchen? It’s true. Eighty percent of your results is based off of that alone. With that said, replacing a shake a day can help you with weight loss. The benefit to using shakes is that it helps retain muscle. This means that you will be burning more fat because muscle burns more calories than fat tissue. Don’t make this upcoming resolution one that will appear and disappear within a few weeks. Tell yourself that you will stick to it everyday.

A tip for a fitness goal would be to incorporate weight training and cardio together, and for the nutritional aspect, make sure you are eating as clean as possible. Focus on balancing your diet and controlling those portion sizes. Self control and dedication is what makes the difference between you accomplishing your New Year’s goals. Believe in yourself and know that you can do it. Let’s shake it up and start the year with a New You..
