An invitation to check out the historic Goodwin Hotel in downtown Hartford set into motion a series of fashion events recently.
Lisa DiBenedetto of Nightingale Events (http://nightingale-events.com/) celebrated the completion of a bridal themed photo shoot with a big bash at the Goodwin where bridal-inspired images taken within the Goodwin were unveiled to all.
In an email, DiBenedetto explained, the shoot was launched when “back in early spring, the hotel reached out to me to while they were under construction. Upon going to the hotel and seeing how amazing the plans were I knew I had to do a shoot.”
“Immediately I asked the hotel if I could conduct a styled shoot upon its completion and luckily enough they said yes,” said DiBenedetto.
DiBenedetto said the photographic creative gears started whirling because “I became completely inspired by the blue ceilings and headboards in the guest rooms.”
With the ideas in her head, she said, “I started to reach out to some of the most talented vendors I know and we started to plan this amazing shoot.”
“The party was held to showcase the amazing outcome of the shoot and bring creatives from all over Connecticut to the hotel to see it for themselves,” said DiBenedetto.
“We created a art gallery for people to see our hard work and celebrate being published by Aisle Perfect (www.AislePerfect.com),” said DiBenedetto.
