Shanai Chambers is helping the sun shine a little brighter in Connecticut.
The University of Connecticut in Hartford student studying for a master’s degree in social work was recently crowned the new Miss Connecticut Caribbean United States.
The Windsor resident is gearing up for the national pageant in June. In the meantime, she met with CTFashionMag.com for a quick interview and a fashion shoot in the Front Street neighborhood around her college.
