When you see them compete for a crown, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, business attire, athleisure wear, and swimsuits are the uniforms of necessity. But what do titleholders wear when the sash and crown are stashed away.

Meet Autumn Schless, Miss Bristol’s Outstanding Teen of the Miss America Organization.

“When I am with my friends my personal style is cute, sporty and comfortable,” said Autumn. “I always like to be comfortable because you never know when you are going to want to do some flips.”

“When I am being casual,” said Autum. “I will always have on something comfortable like yoga pants with sneakers or shorts and flip flops in the summer. Whenever possible I will not have socks on.”

Titleholders interested in being featured in “Stashing the sash fashion,” email mchaiken@ctfashionmag.com.
