When you see them compete for a crown, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, business attire, athleisure wear, and swimsuits are the uniforms of necessity. But what do titleholders wear when the sash and crown are stashed away.

Meet Manette Masse, Connecticut Princess to Miss Hartford County’s Outstanding Teen.

For her dressing up style, Manette said, “I would describe it as I’m a little girly and tomboy put it together and that’s how I like to dress. I love bows and have like one thousand bows including on headbands. I like cool fashion clothes that are sparkly and have flip sequins. I don’t mind wearing fancy dresses either like dresses that are poofy and twirl. I also wear alot of dance clothes because I practice alot of dance during the week.”

Kicking it back and keeping it easy, Manette said, “When I’m at home I like to wear comfy clothes like play clothes, leggings, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt and definitely a bow. Always a bow. ”
