The collection by Troy Anthony Designs presented at Hartford Fashion Week stood out as a wearable, sophisticated, and mature (but far from matronly) line for the modern career woman.
The silhouettes and colors played with what works on the feminine form.
The line unveiled at the Colt Armory in Hartford would seem right at home at a gathering of friends at a delicious new wine bar or a poolside cocktail party in Fairfield County where guests debate Hillary vs. Donald and the viability of the hot new hedge funds.
The standout piece of the runway was a black lace top with a faux fur trimmed hood. It was sexy and cool– but still fell in line with Anthony’s design aesthetic of sophistication.
