When you see them compete for a crown, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, business attire, athleisure wear, and swimsuits are the uniforms of necessity. But what do titleholders wear when the sash and crown are stashed away.

Meet Gia Iwanec, Miss Forestville’s Outstanding Teen of the Miss America Organization.

“I would have to say that my personal style is somewhat on the fun/dressy/elegant side,” said Gia. “I love off the shoulder shirts and I just love rompers– short, long, capri rompers–I enjoy them all and lucky for me, they are in style at the moment. I love to accessorize with a fun earring and a great shoe. The best thing about rompers is that you can dress them up or dress them down depending on what shoe you wear and how you accessorize it.”

When she is just relaxing, Gia said, “As a competitive dancer, I don’t have much time to kick back but when I do you can find me in athletic wear. Leggings or lounge pants, a comfy shirt, fuzzy socks, and hair in a pony. I love being cozy.”
