There was fashion at Art Hearts Fashion at Miami Swim Week last month.

But, there also was scandal as designer Silvia Ulson was accused of fashion plagiarism within hours of the final encore of her runway show at the Faena Forum.

The news broke in an article on Huffington Post (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/silvia-ulson-plagiarism-swimwear_us_5b4e17d6e4b0fd5c73bf7984), which reported that Nigerian designer Bfyne (www.byfyne.com) noted some eerie similarities between some of Ulson’s  dashiki-inspired prints and cuts to a line introduced months earlier by BFyne.

In subsequent articles in the fashion press (http://fashionweekonline.com/silvia-ulson-responds-to-plagiarism-claims), Ulson denied any conscious effort on her part to plagiarize another designer.

While the prints of her collection were under scrutiny, the black and white pieces in her runway show were not.

This is what came down the runway at Art Hearts Fashion.
