As the Outstanding Teen contestants of Miss America wrapped up a round of mini-golf at AC Mini Golf in Atlantic City, an organization official spoke about something special that Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen had done.

The teens, who were in New Jersey, for the Miss America pageant, were taken on a day of activities as they waited for the third night of preliminary competitions. The official said, among the activities, was an opportunity to hand out food at one of the local homeless shelters. The official said Connecticut’s representative, Morgan Mancini, was the only girl who did not arrive for Miss America empty-handed.
