Under the cover of veils

Veils historically have symbolized a certain innocence.

The white veil on a bride symbolizes her virginity.

The veil worn by a woman in a temple represents her deference to the power of God.

But a veil also can symbolize mystery, shielding a face or body from a recognizing gaze. And in this mystery, the veil provides a certain allure for the woman hiding behind it.

Hairstylist Bill Schrlau and his hair team, working with the fashion forward veil brand Krissy Dhibi Designs (http://www.KrissyDhibi.com) of Connecticut and makeup artist Nicole Brookes-Rogers, demonstrate a stylish and modern way to incorporate the mystery of veils into your fashion vocabulary.

Models are Emma Crawford, Becca Kearns, and Ava King.
