Model Mob is a group of area fashion models who weigh in on a variety of issues for CTFashionMag.com and provide selfies that illustrate their replies.

In recognition of the Miss Universe pageant this past weekend and the imminence of the new awards season, like the Golden Globes and the Oscars, the models were asked what do they think they have in their wardrobe is red carpet ready?

Aislinn Ennis said when she is looking for red carpet outfits, some of her “favorite staples include stylish two piece skirts and top sets, jumpsuits for if the weather is colder, and heels so you can see all the action! Finding the perfect combination of jewelry, makeup, and clothing all depends on the event you’re attending!

Ava King said, “The secret to the ideal red carpet dress experience, is to stand out! Take a risk! You don’t want to look like anyone else! Raise people’s curiosity about who ‘that girl’ is! Slow down, let people look at you, and let the cameras flash!

Katerina Reichenbach said she “loves to be trendy,” and she thinks this couture Elizabeth Cordelia design would be the perfect look for any red carpet!

Vanessa Carson (instagram @VGCtheModel) said, “A red carpet experience includes wearing something unique and flattering. If it’s one-of-a-kind, even better! Taking your time on the red carpet just like walking the runway allows everyone to see the design’s details and to capture the vision you create with your walk, pause and look.”

Driena Baldwin said, “A red carpet look for me would be something I could dress up or down by adding accessories and/or changing shoes.  Here, I took a Fashion Nova dress, added jeans and boots to make it a little casual for a special girls’ night out.”
