Business reports again and again cite athleisure wear as the hottest segment of the fashion market.
Brands that focus on athleisure wear are succeeding on the stock market. Brands that haven’t are suffering.
So, when organizers of the Miss USA pageant shifted the Miss Teen USA contestants from wearing swimsuits and moved them into active wear, they also moved them into the fashion vanguard.
At the Miss Connecticut Teen USA finals held at The Palace Theater in Stamford, the teen contestants wore active wear/ athleisure that displayed their level of fitness as well as their own individuality.
This is what the Miss Connecticut Teen USA competitors wore Jan. 5 in the contest won by Kaliegh Garris of New Haven, Conn.
