Model Mob is a group of area fashion models who weigh in on a variety of issues for CTFashionMag.com and provide selfies and self-submitted photographs that illustrate their replies.

This week, in a response to this article from Shop Sartorial, the Mob was asked: Why is it important for designers and stores to embrace women and girls of all shapes and sizes to make them feel beautiful?

Katerina Reichenbach said, “People come in all shapes and sizes. To me, it’s common sense that everyone be featured and any designs available to fit anyone. We are all beautiful.”

Aislinn Ennis said,  “It is important for designers and fashion in general to embrace everyone to make them feel beautiful. Our differences can bring us together for a love of fashion and dressing up, and no one should be excluded from that.”

Vanessa Carson (Instagram @vgcthemodel) said, “I think it’s important for designers to create fashion that can be worn and enjoyed by a variety of sizes so that girls/women can feel included and confident knowing they look great. Rather than focusing on body types, the designs and sizing availability should unite girls/women in the name of fashion.”
