When you see them compete for a crown, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, business attire, and swimsuits or athleisure wear are the uniforms of necessity. But what do titleholders wear when the sash and crown are stashed away.

Meet Miss Fairfield County’s Outstanding Teen Ashlyn Manuel.

When going out to a dance or a nice dinner at a restaurant, Manuel said, “I always love to wear a good jumpsuit for a fancier occasion!

“A cute jumpsuit with a beautiful necklace to me really is one of the best outfits!” said Manuel.

“Also,” said Manuel, “I love to wear a formal cocktail dress to any occasion!”

Manuel said, “No matter what I am wearing I just love to have fun with my outfits! I love to be able to try out new styles and colors on me, to see what works best with my style!”

When kicking back and relaxing, Manuel said, “I love to be comfortable no matter what outfit I am wearing.

“I would normally throw on a cute summer dress or a nice pair of jeans paired with a close-fitting shirt,” said Manuel. “I always love to pair any of my outfits with a pair of cute shoes to dress my outfit up. So I would pair my casual outfits with a pair of cute boots or sandals!”
