Videmus Omnia allowed pops of color to dominate at its show for New York Summer Fashion Week on June 22.
There were blacks lurking in the collection. But mostly, there were red and blues captured in prints that seemed like fashionable camo. There were moments of deconstruction and moments of oversized silhouettes at the runway show held at the Metropolitan West. But rather than draw from more contemporary cultural subsets as she has in past collection, the line at NYSFE drew from other sartorial traditions such as the Japanese tradition.
