The popular image of a fashion model is someone who is forthright and a bit of a ham.

But Sam Shoemaker is a little different.

Sam is described as a bit shy.

But his advocates say don’t sell the young man short.

When it comes to posing in front of the camera, his supporters say, he really comes alive.

And rather than being cocky and a bit overconfident, Sam is described as “sweet, introspected… with lots going on beneath the surface.”

Sam’s modeling experience includes Victoria Henley’s Magnifique runway shows, Vintage Fashion with Kane runway show, the Models in Masks event and the West Town Fashion Board.

Sam was a winner at the Magnifique Fashion Competition held at the Black Fox Resort, Pigeon Forge, Tenn. on Aug. 29. Magnifique Fashion Shows and Competitions are produced by Victoria Henley from “America’s Next Top Model,” Cycle 19.

Besides being a model, Sam also is an actor, having booked roles on television.

The model, who is represented by The STAIR Agency, also is a musician. Sam is an honored French horn player. He also plays mellophone in his high school marching band in Knoxville, Tenn.

Sam also is adept at the pen as a creative writer, who delves into poems and short stories.
