Codie Green is a woman working hard to do it all.
She is a model. She is an entrepreneur. She is a college student. And more importantly, the Houston resident said she is a mother.
Codie, who was a recent winner of the Magnifique fashion competition in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., said she has two “amazing” children, Christian, 8, and Chloe, 5.
Codie, in an email interview, said her children are her “world” and “the reason she gets up every day and pushes as hard as she can to make something out of nothing.”
As a model, Codie was named model of the year in 2019 by the Rated Boujee awards in Houston. She appeared on the cover of Beautiful & Dauntless magazine and had a spread Atlanta-based In The City magazine. She also has had several other photography editorials in other regional magazine.
As noted, Codie was a winner at Magnifique, which gave her a chance to work with the show’s founder, Victoria Henley, a former contestant of “America’s Next Top Model.”
As for the future, Codie will be competing in the 2020 Miss Fashion Global International Modeling Competition Nov. 18-22.
Besides her fashion endeavors, Codie is enrolled at the University of Houston, where she is working on her bachelor’s degree in retail and consumer science.
Codie’s educational pursuit has led her to step out of “comfort zone” by becoming a small business owner, Destiny’s Treasure Box. The long-term goal is to turn that venture into a store front.
