In “The Last Tycoon,” F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote ironically, “There are no second acts in American lives.”
Model Jane McClanahan is proving that there are indeed second acts.
The 73-year-old was a recent winner at the Magnifique modeling competition, organized by former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Victoria Henley.
Before that victory, Jane already had been putting her modeling skills to work on the runway and in photographs. She also has taken up acting to chase after commercial work.
Jane said she is busy “pursuing this new adventure in my life.”
