Tekemia Jenkins may love modeling but beneath that desire for success in that feel is desire to exhibit compassion.
The 24-year-old, who has a 5-year-old daughter who models as well, said “I love God and helping people.”
To that end, Tekemia said, “My desire is to open a home for battered women and women who are victims of domestic abuse.”
Tekemia was a winner at the Magnifique Showcase in Gulfport, Miss. in December. Magnifique is operated by Victoria Henley, a former contestant on “America’s Next Top Model.”
“I ask that everyone who reads this can find it in their heart to show love and compassion to one another as I do,” said the Philadelphia resident.
