Des’monay Barnes is a fashion model, yes.
But this winner in the Magnifique Showcase held in Gulfport, Miss. December 2020 is a woman who values her education.
Magnifique is organized by former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Victoria Henley.
This military veteran has a master’s degree in communication. The aficionado of fitness also said she is working on obtaining a certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. From this jumping off point, she hopes to study abroad and earn a doctoral degree.
Currently, Dez holds a job in the mental health field, a topic that she said is “very close to her heart.” She also owns her own business, Dezarella, and creates motivational content under the brand for daDaily Breadss.
Then, to top it off, Dez has a slew of outside interests including fashion modeling. She dances and acts. She also competes in pageants, having held two top titles in two separate states.
