Virtual is still a thing in fashion as COVID-19 still lurks. New York Fashion Week focused on a virtual approach, foregoing a crowd eager to be photographed for the gossip columns, and opting for video cameras operated by masked professionals.

Even though in-person photography sessions have resumed, the crews assisting the photographers have been pared back.

And even celebrities such as Zendaya have kept their hand in virtual photo shoots. A photo on her Twitter account to promote the Critic’s Choice awards was taken virtually.

While she waits for the fashion runway to call her back, Florida-based model Mariangely Silva sat for a virtual shoot, iPhone to iPhone.
