Change your spots with Connecticut’s KARO

A leopard can’t change its spots.

But the latest swimsuits from Connecticut-based brand KARO Swimwear can change their spots, or not, it all depends on your mood.

The two-piece and one-piece suits from KARO–which are designed by Berlin, Conn.’s Kasia Roginska–utilize on-trend leopard prints.

But then things diverge.

The one-piece, with pink piping, offers a retro feel that takes you back to the California beaches of “Beach Blanket Bingo” and Jayne Mansfield.

The two pieces then get tricky. Both are reversible. One suit that mirrors the one-piece’s use of leopard print and pink piping, flips inside and becomes pink with leopard trim. The other suit, which offers a denim-look fabric with leopard trim, reverses and becomes a leopard print with denim-like trim.

Flip the two pieces around enough, each suit becomes several suits. Maybe you want all denim. Maybe you want denim on the top and leopard on the bottom. And so on.

You get the picture.

Go on a vacation and no one will be the wiser that you are wearing the same suit on consecutive days. You’ll save enough money to buy some extra mimosas at sunrise.

KARO has been seen on the pages of Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit issue as well as in British Vogue and British Cosmopolitan. She also has shown her collections at Miami Swim Week and during New York Fashion Week.
