Early Rise Breakfast Party Couture on will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a secret Hartford location (the details will be unveiled once you buy your ticket).
Guests will feast on jerk chicken pasta, ackee and saltfish, steamed callaloo, esovitch fish, boiled green banana, fried chicken, fried dumpling and fresh fruit. And there will be complementary mimosas until noon.
As you chow down and and gawk at the steamy fashions, the models will move to soca, reggae, afrobeat and hip-hop tunes.
“I create depending on how the model looks,” said designer Fiorella Nicolicchia of Fio Dulce Doll, when asked about her creative process.
