Nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, right beside Steven Best’s Smoky Mountain Theater, Country Legends Rediscovered Museum, is a brand new installation born from the vision of singer /songwriter Colby Greer.

Paying homage to country music legends including Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, George Jones, and many more, this dynamic museum is the only of its kind in the city of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., utilizing various artifacts and memorabilia, including performance wardrobe, albums and video recordings to provide an inside look into the life and times of some of the country genre’s biggest superstars.

The museum offers a trove of highly unique and engaging exhibits paying tribute to artists across the spectrum, ranging from custom painted artworks by the inimitable Ronnie McDowell (who we have interviewed previously for Backstage Pass), as well as photos, sketches and costumes belonging to larger than life personalities such as Barbara Mandrell, Billy Walker, Melba Montgomery, Hank Williams, Hank Snow, and countless more of the industry’s top shining stars.

Country Legends Rediscovered also pays homage to the iconic Nudie Cohn, the illustrious designer who created decorative rhinestone-covered suits, known popularly as “Nudie Suits”, and other elaborate outfits for some of the most famous celebrities of his era, including none other than Elvis Presley himself.

The Country Legends Rediscovered Museum includes an exciting array of t-shirts, mugs, and artwork by talented local artists , and various other novelties that allow guests to take a small piece of country music home with them.

Educational , informative, and highly entertaining, the Country Legends Rediscovered Museum is a can’t-miss brand new attraction that you absolutely must visit on your next trip to Pigeon Forge Tenn.
