here can you go to rub elbows and hob-nob with some of the most notable and prestigious celebrities in the mediums of film, music, television, literature and beyond?

Why, the Hollywood Wax Museum, of course!

Offering unparalleled opportunities for up close and personal encounters with some of Hollywood’s brightest and most instantly recognizable stars, Hollywood Wax Museum features a trove of lifelike replicas of all of your favorite personalities in stunningly curated settings that would easily rival any A-list movie set.

The roster of prestigious stars and starlets regularly rotates, creating a dynamic new and different experience on each and every visit; therefore, be sure to visit the Hollywood Wax Museum website and inform the team of any celebrities you would like to see on display during your next visit.

Established in 1965, the Hollywood Wax Museum has cemented its status as one of the most unique, individualistic, and well-curated museums in the United States, boasting locations in Branson, Mo., Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Hollywood, Calif., and Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Most of the Hollywood Wax Museum locations also offer a variety of additional opportunities for fun and adventure, including Hannah’s Mirror Maze and Zombie Outbreak: Dread the Undead.

The Backstage Pass on iHeartRadio/CTFashionMag.com team was afforded the opportunity to explore all three of the aforementioned attractions at the Myrtle Beach, S.C. location for our exclusive Myrtle Beach Must Sees spotlight feature.

THE WAX MUSEUM:

The exterior of the museum is an experience in and of itself, featuring a looming King Kong figure climbing atop several skyscrapers. Upon entry, guests receive the opportunity for a professional photo (taken by a Hollywood Wax Museum staff photographer) nestled into the hand of King Kong (professionally matted souvenir photos are available for pick up in the gift shop area following your visit.)

You’ll soon find yourself winding through corridors lined with eerily accurate replicas of your favorite celebrities including Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Morgan Freeman, Sandra Bullock and many more A-List personalities, complete with reading materials featuring detailed information including little known factoids, filmographies, charitable work, astrological signs, and many other details you may not have previously known about your favorite public figures.

Numerous themed areas, complete with exceptionally well-designed decor, are featured throughout the expanse of the Hollywood Wax Museum, including the classic “soda pop shop” scene, featuring Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and James Dean, as well as Country Music Row (starring Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Carrie Underwood, etc.) and the Chamber of Horrors (highlighting Jason, the fear-inducing stars of Alien Vs. Predator, the Crypt Keeper, and of course, none other than the Queen of Darkness herself, Elvira!)

Some of the newest additions to the museum include star of “Creed” and “Fruitville Station”, Michael B. Jordan as well as “Bodak Yellow” and “Up” rapper, Cardi B, paired with noteworthy chart-topping crooners such as Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift, just to name a few.

While the word “museum” may connote the idea of stringent rules and regulations, Hollywood Wax Museum strongly encourages involvement and interactivity as numerous props, including accessories, jackets, chairs, etc. are provided, prompting visitors to become part of the displays for envy-inducing social media photo ops.

Guaranteed to be the most star-studded attraction you’ll find in Myrtle Beach, Hollywood Wax Museum serves up campy fun with a side of kitschy glamour that will have you smiling at the ample photo-capture memories of your experience for years to come!

HANNAH’S MIRROR MAZE:

Available as a separate tour or as a part of an All Access Pass package, Hannah’s Mirror Maze transports visitors to the Kingdom of Savannah, where princess Hannah finds herself trapped in an endless maze of mirrors, following a fateful curse by the evil witch, Hetty.

Desperate to rescue their daughter from being trapped for eternity in an abysmal lair, Hannah’s parents, The King and Queen of Savannah, enlist the help of guests to twist, turn, and wind down an endless maze of mirrors in the ultimate quest of skill, navigation, and valor to become “The Chosen One.” Pulsating music, dazzling lights, breathtaking audio/visual effects, and over 288 potential turns within the mirrored corridors offer endless opportunity for adventure, surprise, and excitement, leading to an endless array of hidden rooms, dead ends, and a dizzying psychedelic vortex as well as a spinning circular platform which is sure to make your head spin as you continue in your magical quest to rid the Kingdom of Savannah of vanity forever.

A mentally stimulating and viscerally stunning excursion for all ages, Hannah’s Mirror Maze is a must to experience on any visit to a Hollywood Wax Museum attraction!

OUTBREAK: DREAD THE UNDEAD

Unmistakably eerie, undeniably unsettling, and serving up unquestionably pulse pounding fun, Outbreak: Dread the Undead takes guests on a quest to ChemaCorp, the one-time leader in biotechnology, whom has recently suffered a debilitating setback as their groundbreaking experimental DNA-altering Alpha Strain, which has gone terribly wrong and turned soldiers into aggressive zombies.

Upon your entry, the building is placed under immediate lockdown, and the only way out is through, as you’ll be forced to roam through a sea of bone chilling sights, sounds, smells, and scares from real-life zombies, which will undoubtedly make all your hairs stand on end as you muster your will to make it out of your journey safely.

Pyrotechnics, glowing lights, exceptionally realistic morgue scenes, campily grotesque zombie videos and more are utilized to create an alternate universe where only the bravest will survive.

Adding to the delightfully frightening elements of Outbreak: Dread the Undead is that real life crew members who constructed Chemacorp’s basement area heard unusual crashes, bangs, and hums, and guests regularly report feeling an icy chill wash over them during certain portions of their tour. Spooky season enthusiasts need not fret as this attraction is open for harrowingly thrilling fun all year round.

Whether you’re looking to get up close and personal with the rich and famous, get lost in a regal quest, or brave the terrifying land of the undead, Hollywood Wax Museum offers something to whet the appetite for adventure of everyone in your group
