When she was growing up in what is now the Slovak Republic, Martina Jankulova Palovic – who is known to her friends as Tina — studied at the Fashion High School. And while she was there, she started doing runway shows.

“The fashion has been my passion, hobby and love since then,” said Tina.

When the 40-year-old emigrated to the United States, “It was my dream to be the fashion model again and to show all the women in the world you can be working as a model at each age. Each woman deserves to feel beautiful and loved.”

The move to the United States proved lucky for Tina in more ways than just an opportunity to pursue her career dreams.

Tina met her future husband in Denver. Oddly enough, she said, the two grew up in the same town, Nitra in the Slovak Republic. But they never met each other until they arrived in the states.

“I wish to have more fashion shows in the future and to be the best role model for all generations,” said Tina.

Tina was a recent winner at the Magnique Showcase in Mississippi, held by former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Victoria Henley.
