The latest collection from Charjean Couture took off with wings during Miami Swim Week on May 31.
In a fashion show held at Unarthodox Miami, teen designer Katie Davis presented a line of swimwear. And white was the theme of the day for the models.
In promo materials for the show, Davis wrote, “Inspired by courgeous NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) babies, this collection features delicate white feathers, radiant pearls and sparkling rhinestones. Each rhinestone symbolizes the shining light within every NICU baby’s heart; the pure white pearls reflect their innocence and resilient spirit while the soft feathers represent the wings that help each tiny fighter soar to new heights and achieve greatness.”
A portion of the ticket sales for the runway show, which featured many popular social influencers, supported Katie’s Little Angels.
