Backstage Pass: Model Victoria Elizabeth basks in Aussie Heat

by VICTORIA ELIZABETH

My Backstage Pass team and I visited Aussie Heat is Las Vegas’s male revue featuring “dancers who can strip, not strippers that can’t dance.”

Since its inception in 2013, this steamy, dynamic, action packed nearly two-hour show has quickly cemented its status as one of the hottest shows in Sin City. The show has returned for the 2025 season, a bustling venue located in the Neonopolis entertainment complex on Fremont Street.

Innovative, intoxicating, and outrageous, Aussie Heat firmly sets itself apart from the legions of other revue shows in Vegas in that it incorporates varieties of classic theatrical elements and is completely inclusive of all ages (my 91 year old grandmother “Mimi” called it the highlight of her Las Vegas trip).

The emcee, Aaron, a renowned Aussie dancer and choreographer, seamlessly transitions between high octane dance routines and his emcee duties maintaining a warm, engaging rapport and chemistry with both the nearly sold out audience and the other entertainers. Aussie Heat features a keenly Australian aesthetic, wildly sensual routines, and state of the art surround sound music and LED screens.

The quintessential “girls night out” outing, Aussie Heat is also perfectly suited for bachelorette parties, divorce parties, and really any occasion where you want to let down your hair. Completely LGBT inclusive, Aussie Heat allows endless opportunities for up close and personal, hands on interactions with the performers including wrist bands for lap dances, and creative segments on stage featuring varieties of characters and scenarios that allow you to fully unleash your raw imagination.

The overall aesthetic and atmosphere of Aussie Heat is empowering, liberating, and freeing for both the audience members and the performers, setting itself keenly apart from other “strip clubs” and revue shows where the atmosphere can oftentimes be seen as demeaning or aimlessly objectifying.

Each performer has their own distinctive character and personality.

The show is divided into various chapters.

Perhaps one of the most immersive and innovative numbers of the evening is an edge of your seat aerial performance by Jake Johnson, during which he showcases his agility, strength and grace, flying high above the crowd with ease and great aplomb.

Guests are given the opportunity to pose for both “Naughty and Nice” exclusive photo ops with the cast following the show, capturing memories that will surely remain with you long after your Las Vegas trip’s end.

Special thanks to the amazing Izzi Rodriguez and the entire Aussie Heat Crew for having us back for our ‘25 season spotlight.
