Known for its pristine beaches, vibrant and diverse marine life, delightful restaurants, and luxurious shopping, Grand Cayman has firmly cemented its status within the past five decades as a premiere vacation destination for those seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Despite the many positive attributes of visiting Grand Cayman (including the plethora of attractions and natural wonders), a majority of the condos and hotels on the island have rightfully garnered a reputation for charging exorbitant nightly rates and outrageous added fees, making the logistics of a lengthy Grand Cayman stay less feasible for some.
Breezyport, a condominium complex located conveniently close to the airport, boasts surprisingly affordable modern luxury, warm island hospitality, and cozy, yet sleek accommodations, nestled within a drivable distance to a majority of the island’s most popular attractions.
Upon arrival to Breezyport, we were assisted by Erimando (the owner of the complex, who is also somewhat of a local celebrity), who, patiently walked us through the quick and easy check in process.
Our unit was just what my group and I needed for our stay, which was initially scheduled to be a weeklong excursion; however, we loved our accommodations so much that we decided to extend our trip for another week.
Spacious and beautifully decorated, our unit featured a kitchen area (complete with a full fridge, stove, microwave, coffee and Nespresso maker) that enabled us to start our days off right with a home-cooked breakfast and unwind after a long day of adventures.
A table and seating area was provided for leisurely meals and snack times while a comfortable couch and chic end tables were a sublime atmosphere for enjoying our favorite television shows and movies upon each day’s end.
The unit featured two bedrooms and full baths, and the beds offered the perfect blend of softness and firmness, providing us a restful night sleep that proved quite necessary for the seemingly endless opportunities the island provided us for daily action and adventure.
The walk-in showers were roomy and well-tailored for handicapped individuals.
This complex of accessibly chic and luxurious units has been extremely well reviewed on a variety of travel sites and third party hotel platforms for very good reason: the neighborhood is quiet and safe, the accommodations are economically sensible, yet stylish, and the hospitality is simply unparalleled.
The owner and his hardworking staff will truly make you feel like members of their family. They always aimed to afford guests the absolute most stellar experience possible.
