Lyla is ready to take on the NAM nation this November

An 8-year-old from Connecticut is ready to represent her home state at the National American Miss competition to be held this fall in Florida.

Lyla Grace Arzuaga was crowned Miss Connecticut Junior Pre-Teen at the regional competition for NAM in Springfield, Mass. on July 5.

Lyla, who competed against 7 to 9 year olds, now heads to the nationals, which will be held Nov. 21-30 in Orlando, Fla. CTFashionMag recently interviewed the titleholder about her victory. She also showed off her pageant style in a fashion shoot.
