Miss Connecticut Volunteer Serena Charbonneau did not take home the national title this weekend– that honor went to Miss Utah Volunteer – now Miss Volunteer America 2026–Lauren Salimbene. But Charbonneau did get to show the nation how hard she worked to reach the national stage in Jackson, Tenn.
And now that the competition is over… and the judges had their opportunity to be surprised… the world can now take a peek at Charbonneau’s wardrobe for the event.
At her recent send-off party in Bristol, the Wolcott resident asked everyone to maintain absolute secrecy about her intended attire. She wanted the judges’ first taste of her style to occur when she stepped into the spotlight for the competition and not via social media or news reports.
So, this is what Charbonneau wore during the interview, talent (she sang a song by the band Keane), swimsuit and evening gown competitions in Tennessee.
