The theme for this year’s Miss Polish America competition was “The Great Gatsby.” In keeping with the theme, contestants dressed like flappers from the Roaring Twenties.
When John Gladysz of the Miss Polish America drove up to the venue in his classic automobile, complete with “Gatsby” license plates, the contestants had a perfect place to pose in their vintage-style costumes.
Contestants Victoria Barnat, Otylia Olechno and Olivia Perkowski were quick on the draw to get their posing opportunities in before they had to retreat for a final rehearsal at the Baltic Restaurant in Berlin, Conn. on Saturday, May 25.
All of the contestants had a fleeting chance for some quick snaps on the motorcycles brought in by some local aficionados.
