Model profile: Meet Jay Wander

Hailing from the Bronx, New York, 12-year-old Jay Wander is a rising multi-talented force in both the acting and music worlds. He has already made his mark as a background actor on major TV series such as “Law & Order,” “Blue Bloods,” the “Power Book” franchise, and most recently, “Poker Face” on Peacock.

Jay was a recent winner at Victoria Elizabeth’s “Magnifique Showcase.”

Beyond the screen, Jay is a rapper and songwriter. His lyricism and Bronx pride shine through in his original music, including his upcoming single, “Be Mine,” set to release in January 2026. He recently gave audiences a taste of what’s to come with a live performance of the track at the 3rd Annual Summer Youth Explosion in Harlem.

Jay’s performance resume continues to grow with moments like his appearance on “Kids Got Talent” in Atlanta, and as a panelist for “Young, Gifted & Bossed Up” at the American Dream Mall. He’s also graced the runway at New York Fashion Street Runway, walking for streetwear brands Coogi and FUBU.

In the summer, Jay took the stage at Rapper Scar Lip’s Summer Fest in Brooklyn, further proving his ability to command a crowd and connect through music.

While his creative pursuits keep him busy, Jay remains committed to his education—maintaining a 90 average and a perfect attendance record.
