Connecticut women and men looking for attire that is colorful and unique have a new shopping option.
Nancy Walker, a familiar face on the Connecticut catwalk circuit, has opened up a brick-and-mortar shop to sell her Rootswear Design creations. The new store can be found in Bloomfield’s WIntonbury Mall at 836 Park Ave. in Suite 50A. Inside, shoppers can find original dresses, pant suits, separates, accessories and more. Everything on display reflects Walker’s fashion aesthetic.
On Aug. 15, Walker held a grand opening for her new venture. As part of the festivities, Walker dressed a professional model, Sirena, in a selection of her garments. Customers also were selected to try on some Rootswear and let their inner models loose for the camera.
