It affords guests the opportunity to experience the splendor of the Flint Creek. Featuring custom built, sturdy (not to mention, fully handicap accessible) stock tanks completely equipped with seating and a spacious interior that provides the comfortable and relaxed feeling of lounging in one’s living room, Get Tank’d holds the honor of being the one and only tanking adventure company in all of southwest Georgia.

Backstage Pass was thrilled to experience the soft launch of this dynamic adventure-excursion company for its maiden voyage in April and our intimate crew, comprised of the founders, a small child named Jed, a dog named Brooklyn, and an intimate yet enthusiastic group of outdoor enthusiasts lathered on sunscreen and prepared for the multi-hour journey which lay ahead.
Oars were provided for those of us who wished to propel the outing along at a swifter pace while some chose to relax and enjoy the brisk evening breeze and peaceful serenity of nature. (Note that the water levels in the creek paired with the pace at which one chooses to paddle can significantly effect the overall “run-time” of this adventure; however, allotting at least 4-5 hours total in order to fully experience this voyage is recommended by the Get Tank’d Team. )
Conley entertained our group (comprised of my mom Lynn, Conley’s daughter Natalie, Mark Blanchard, Kim Freeland, and the adorable dog Brooklyn, who energetically bounced between our raft and the boat behind us) as we paddled down the creek, enjoying a variety of snacks and beverages that had been pre packed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the legendary Blue Hole, a natural, deep-blue limestone springs and underwater cave revered far and wide for its ethereal beauty, and our group relished the nearly 30 minute pit stop we took for photo ops, swimming, and to cool off from the hot South Georgia sun. The remainder of the trip was filled with lots of laughter, great memories and peaceful moments spent taking in all of the atmosphere’s resplendent beauty.
