Miss Connecticut Volunteer: The wardrobe secrets can be shared

Miss Connecticut Volunteer Gia Iwanec did not win the Miss Volunteer America title on Saturday — that honor went to the Texas representative Amanda Higginbotham — but family and friends will tell you she left everything on the stage in Jackson, Tenn. this past weekend as she competed in talent, evening gown and swimsuit on stage and private interview with judges.

At her send-off party several weeks ago, Iwanec provided a top secret peek at her wardrobe for nationals. Now that the competition is over, and the judges had their first look at her selections, the secret can be shared.
