The 10 contestants for Miss Connecticut took to the Rockwell Theater stage in Bristol during preliminaries night on June 26 and demonstrated for the judges their chosen talents.
Christa Steiner went on to win the Miss Connecticut crown on finals night, June 27. She now represents the state at Miss America, which will be held in West Palm Beach, Fla.
