Miss Wolcott selects its titleholders

A new Miss Wolcott and Miss Wolcott’s Outstanding Teen were crowned on Saturday night.

Watertown’s Monica Fenwick is the new Miss Wolcott for 2023. Bristol’s Sage Cibula is the new Miss Wolcott’s Outstanding Teen.

The competition was held at Wolcott High School, Wolcott. Miss contestants competed in on-stage question/ social impact pitch, talent and red carpet. Teen contestants competed in Lifestyle and Fitness, talent, red carpet and on-stage question. Both Miss and Teen contestants were scored earlier in the day during a private interview with the judges.

The competition night also saw Miss Wolcott 2022 Laura Christie, Miss Farmingbury 2022 Ashlyn Mercier and Miss Wolcott’s Outstanding Teen 2022 Allie Maisto say farewell after a year representing the community.

Fenwick and Cibula will go on to compete the state competitions held by the Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization in April at the Mohegan Sun Resort Casino in Uncasville.
