The countdown is on for Gina Carloto, the current Miss Connecticut. On Dec. 3 in Stratford, the Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization held its send-off for its contestant in the Miss America contest.
Miss America will be held Jan. 6-14 in Orlando, Fla.
During the send-off, Carloto offered her thanks to family and friends who have supported her. She also participated in a Q&A that mimicked the private judges’ interview that she will participate in while in Florida.
