A new Miss USA, Deshauna Barber, was crowned on Sunday night.
Many young girls and young women have dreams of being crowned queen of the nation.
And the path to Miss USA—or Miss America—often runs through competitions such as the Miss Eternal Beauty pageant, which was held June 4 at Springfield Central High School in Springfield, Mass.
The contestants—in categories such as “Baby,” “Little,” “Preteen,” “Teen,” “Miss” and “Mrs.”—are judged in several events. Among them, of course, is the evening gown. Great care clearly was taken by contestants in each category to find the gown that makes them look beautiful and elegant.
It’s fashion that they and their families hope will lead them to becoming the next Miss USA or Miss America.
