HARTFORD– Trash became couture on Sunday as the seventh annual Trashion Fashion event made its debut on Front Street at the Infinity Music Hall.

This was the first year the event, which celebrates the importance of being kind to the environment while being creative in fashion, had set up inside the venue.

Thirty-five models wearing 35 trashion designs walked a convoluted runway through a packed house, which include Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin and his family.

This is what the gathered crowd saw on Sunday.
