Carol Jurzyk of Wolcott will present a free Empowered Girls Rise Movement Rally on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. at Wolcott High School, Wolcott, Conn.
The theme is “Own the Queen that Lies Within You,” said Jurzyk in a press release.
Alyssa Taglia anchor for WTNH and former Miss CT 2016, will be great keynote speaker.
The event will include workshops on goal setting, healthy relationships, facing fears and other empowering topics. Workshop presenters include Doreen Dilger, business and manifest coach; Leanna Tsangarides, LCSW, CDBT; Renee C. Bauer of Bauer Law Firm; Jillian Harpin Competitor in Adaptive Sports; Caili Ewell, life coach/meditation teacher; and Shelly Carter, founder and director at Girl’s Future Firefighter Camp.
The panel discussion will include Bridget Oei, Miss Connecticut 2018; Louise Cornetta, digital audio program director at ESPN; and Irma Reyes, owner at New Grand, LLC.
