She’s the boss

You can call 10-year-old Omaria White “boss.”

Omaria, who goes by the nickname Mushy, is a home schooled fifth grader.

And with the help of her parents, she also is a CEO of her own business.

Omaria, who is also a fashion model, launched Mushy Madness at age 8.

“My company started with me just selling fanny packs and charm bracelets,” said Omaria. “Because I love purses and have a huge collection myself, I decided to sell purses. I now sell charm bracelets; the latest hand bag trends for you girls;along with my own signature backpack purse and my own sleepover bags. I also started a blingy bow sock line.”

Omaria was a recent winning at Magnifique Showcase, operated by former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Victoria Henley.

“My passion is modeling,” said the 10-year-old.

“My modeling career started with runway at age 6,” said Omaria. “Since then I have walked in fashion shows in different states such as Michigan, Ohio, Chicago, Atlanta and Mississippi. I am looking forward to walking in LA, New York and Miami fashion week this year.

“My biggest accomplishments as a model so far are the ad campaigns I did for Meijers Halloween and Toy Catalog and also the ad I did for Whirlpool,” said Omaria.

“I am currently signed with Unique Models out of Michigan and NV Models and Talent in Ohio,” said Omaria. ” My goal is to get signed to more agencies so I can continue to work with big name companies.”

Soon, Omaria also hopes to add a new entry to her resume. Published author.

“I am currently working with a publication company on my first tween book titled “Reckless Runway and Journal.”
