Sierra Clark fought back against her fears.

And now, she said, she is “blooming.”

The Florida resident said she never felt “good enough.”

Sierra said she knew she was pretty. And she knew she looked good in the lens of the camera.

But still…

Taking a leap against fear, Sierra decided to enter the Miss Fashion Global competition. There she met former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Victoria Henley who was offering a runway workshop. (Sierra was a recent winner of Henley’s Magnifique Showcase.)

“This opportunity wasn’t about feeling pretty enough,” said Sierra. But, she added, “It was about beauty though, not the one the world superficially highlights. But (it was about) beauty that shines differently.” Her decision was about a beauty rooted in confidence.

Now, as a contestant in Miss Fashion Global, Sierra said she hopes “to change the perspective on the way the world influences the words ‘pretty’ and ‘beauty.’ Confidence has nothing to do with how you look on the outside but all about how you feel about you inside out.”

Now, Sierra said, she feels “good enough.”
