The Biblical Times Dinner Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the only fully faith-based theatrical performance outlet in the Smoky Mountains, has built a solid reputation upon offering an exciting and dynamic rotating line up of grand scale productions, touring acts, and more within their stunning, multi-million-dollar theater.

Always upgrading and evolving, the Biblical Times Theater team has now established the brand new “Southern Gospel Breakfast Hour,” which features toe-tapping, inspirational gospel music within both the contemporary and traditional realms, served up with a hearty breakfast.

The breakfast menu includes: endless complimentary coffee as well as sweet and unsweetened tea; savory sausage; fried bologna; eggs; white gravy; and freshly baked homemade biscuit.

The renowned Gospel quartet, Gold City (known for setting the standard for male quartets since their inception in 1980) entertained the audience with many of their greatest chart-topping hits throughout the one-hour set including: “In Time, On Time, Every Time” and “Hide Me, Rock of Ages,” exhibits the beautifully blended harmonies and vocals by the members: Daniel Riley (baritone), Chris West (bass), Bruce Taliaferro (lead singer), and tenor, Thomas Nalley.

Throughout the group’s storied 42-year history, Gold City has witnessed and ministered to legions of people through heartfelt testimony, poignant lyricism, and an innate, God-given musical ability.

Gold City returned in the evening for a 6 p.m. set, performing a variety of different and recurring songs from their endless roster of hits. Dinner, a feast of biblical proportions, included: Your choice of unlimited sweetened/unsweetened tea or lemonade; house salad; dinner roll; smoked meatloaf; smoked chicken breast; and roasted red potatoes; steamed broccoli; half cobb corn; and chocolate mousse.
