Hilda Puno went from serving the country to working the camera.

Hilda, who was born and raised on the island of Guam, served active duty with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy Reserve.

As a member of the military, and while protecting the nation, Hilda became a world traveler.

“I am currently working in the entertainment industry as a print commercial model and federal work in Los Angeles, California,” said Hilda, who was a recent winner at Victoria Henley’s Magnifique Showcase. “I am passionate and involved in helping people within the community to be a role model and a voice for military veterans as well as within the community.”

Hilda is now entering the world of pageants as well as fashion.

“I am currently competing in Mr. & Ms. Military 2023 (@mrmsmilitary) representing Veterans Sisters Organization (@veteranssisterorg).”

“Having faith and hope are the inspiration to move forward and to make an impact in this world,” said Hilda.
