Miss CT’s Outstanding Teen demonstrates her style

ORLANDO, Fla.– At Tuesday night’s first night of preliminary competitions for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen Samantha Anderson had the opportunity to show off her fashion sense.

At the Orange County Convention Center, Samantha competed in the evening gown and on-stage question for her first phase of competition. (Over the next two nights, she will be competing in Lifestyle and Fitness and Talent.)

Samantha’s gown was a sparkly affair with rhinestones across the bodice. The skirt, which was ruffle, trailed behind C0nnecticut’s teen fashion icon in a train.

Also, for the opening number and introduction, Samantha– and all of the contests– wore an original dress from Tony Bowls original, which was nearly all white with splashes of color. The top of the dress was sleeveless. The skirt was a pleated A-line.
